Lori Midson, a food critic with Zagat, published an article featuring the best dishes from her eating adventures at Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. One of the top dishes from the three-day food festival was the oyster, country ham and chorizo bread pudding prepared by Justin Brunson, executive chef of Old Major in Denver, CO and Stephen Gerike, Director of Culinary Innovation for the National Pork Board.

 

The dish was served at the Pork & CO industry night party alongside a Buffalo Trace bourbon cocktail (also included in the list of best beverages) and an abundance of charcuterie and pork centric dishes from Chef Brunson.
