The National Pork Board supports chefs who do inspiring things with pork. The Celebrated Chef program and the annual Pork Summit are two ways we reach out to the culinary community and share our love of pork. The title of Celebrated Chef is reserved for outstanding, nationally recognized chefs who believe, like we do, that pork inspires creativity and amazing menu items. If recipe development is your passion, the Pork Summit is your chance to showcase your skills with pork. Competition begins at the state or regional level at Taste of Elegance competitions and is sponsored by state pork producer associations. Winners of these competitions win a trip to the Pork Summit, an exclusive educational weekend at the Culinary Institute of America’s Greystone Campus in St. Helena, CA, featuring Chef demos from pork Celebrated Chefs, farm to fork education, and an opportunity to work in the world famous teaching kitchens with Celebrated Chefs and foodservice trade media.
